About Me

My name's Melina and I live in Dubai with my husband, my two sons, and our saluki-mix rescue dog, Zeus! I worked in the fashion industry for over fourteen years, starting out in junior roles before working my way up to more senior positions. After much hard work I launched my very own label. It was everything to me. Then I had children and my priorities shifted.

I started to reevaluate what was meaningful and the impact that I wanted to make on the world, starting with my community. What's more meaningful than having a positive influence on someone's early years?

My relationship with the education system is a complex one. I disagree that it's a "one-size fits all" concept. I believe that all children are different and to expect every child to meet the same goals in all areas of learning is unrealistic and this can lead to a lot of self esteem issues within children that often transpire into adulthood.

My goal is to empower children, whatever their strengths or weaknesses are, by providing them with a range of resources that are the right fit for them.

I believe that approaching creativity and education are two principles that can work together harmoniously and through our workshops, Creative Kits, posters and resources, we can achieve that ❤️
